Mozilla Thunderbird

The Thunderbird toolbar allows you to synchronize your existing Plaxo Address Book to your Thunderbird Address Book. Wherever you install a Plaxo toolbar your address book will be consistent and stay updated automatically. You can also access your Plaxo Address Book on the web through Plaxo Online.

Works with Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5 and 2.0.

NOTE: The Plaxo Toolbar for Thunderbird may not work well with address books over 3,000 contacts.

Installation instructions

1. Download the Plaxo Toolbar for Thunderbird XPI file

Click here to download the Plaxo Toolbar for Thunderbird. Save the file to a location you can easily remember, you will need to find the file in step 2.

2. Start Thunderbird and install the XPI

Start Mozilla Thunderbird and go to the "Add-ons" option under the "Tools" menu. Once the Add-ons window is open, click "Install", locate the XPI file you downloaded in step 1 and select it for installation. You will need to restart Thunderbird to activate the Plaxo Toolbar for Thunderbird.

3. Sync with Plaxo!

You should now see the Plaxo Toolbar for Thunderbird running. To start syncing your contacts between your Plaxo address Book and your Thunderbird Address Book, click "Sync" and follow the setup wizard.
